Meridian Printing is known for its traditional printing services, however they have expanded to include promotional merchandise, branded apparel, commercial signage and displays, as well as, wide format printing and large-scale projects.

Meridian is consolidating four of its Stateline offices into one 50,000 SF facility in the I-90 corridor in Loves Park. This building will hold over 100 employees and is being built with the preparation of a future 40,000 SF expansion.

Owners Bob Chanson and Bruce Vorel started the company over 40 years ago in the greater Rockford region.  “Businesses draw other businesses,” says Chanson. “Whether it’s the hospital, or our business or some other store around here, one thing drives the other.  It’s like a magnet and creates opportunity.” The location of this new facility is ideal being right off the interstate.

The new, state-of-the-art building made of pre-engineered metal and pre-cast, will include 50,000 square feet of office, warehouse, and manufacturing space.  Construction includes high exposed ceilings, display area for products, and high-speed overhead doors. The expenditures for the new construction will reach approximately $6,000,000, with the project scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2020.

Building this new facility not only creates increased efficiency and productivity by combining all four area offices but leaves space for Meridian to further meet growing industry demands and remain a strong presence for years to come.
